Responsibilities |
|
|
| Analysis of large set of biological data from whole genome profiling (mRNA, microRNA, SNP, Exon sequencing etc) |
|
|
| Work effectively under pressure and tight timelines |
|
|
| Manage complex bioinformatics projects in collaboration with internal and external cancer biology researchers |
|
|
| Invention of new algorithm for the analysis of large amount of biological data |
|
|
| Identification of new therapeutic targets and biomarkers using cutting edge technologies of bio-informatics |
|
|
|
Qualifications |
|
|
| Ph.D. and/or M.D. in Bioinformatics or Medical/Pharmaceutical Sciences or Engineering or Computational Biology or Applied mathematics: with >3 years experience in computational genomics and biomarkers in a biotech or pharmaceutical setting. |
|
|
| Great team player and excellent interpersonal skills |
|
|
| Strong oral and written communication skills necessary to present rep |
|
|
| Comprehensive experience of cutting edge software and databases used in computational biology |
|
|
| Proficiency in programming ideally in PEARL, Python, C++, Java as well as in scripting language such as R; Understanding of signaling networks is preferred |
